UAE, Abu Dhabi, 25th October 2008- The multi-platinum superstar Christina Aguilera performed last night for the first time in the UAE, turning up the heat in Abu Dhabi with a spectacular, high energy concert at the Emirates Palace. Organized by Abu Dhabi events company Flash, Christina Aguilera was greeted by over 15,000 fans who travelled from across the region to witness an elaborate production, boasting several costume changes, crisp dance numbers - glitz and glamour. The Abu Dhabi concert was nothing short of spectacular. Celebrated for her mesmerizing voice and powerful presence, Christina Aguilera performed tracks off her third solo album "Back to Basics", the multi-platinum selling album as well as classic Christina favourites such as "What a Girl Wants, Hurt, Beautiful, Come On Over, Oh Mother, Fighter, Can't Hold Us Down, The Voice Within & Genie in a Bottle" to name but a few. Christina Aguilera was supported by American/Armenian singer, Taleen, whose powerful voice and lyrical prowess made her the perfect choice to open for the great songstress.
